Brilliant turnout tonight 11.05.22 and we now have our new HF wire antenna up with excellent results and a really low noise level..
Thanks to all involved and all done within 75 minutes . thanks to Dai Jim Kev Ken Matt and Paul BGX..
The HF wire in the attic is now obsolete after doing a comparison test..
Two new members tonight and a new foundation course started

Minutes of meeting 10.11.2021
The 2021 AGM was opened by Ken after asking the members if they agreed to him overseeing proceedings until the new committee had been elected and unanimously agreed.
The meeting started at 19.05 and a new committee was duly elected and voted in
Derick MW0JBX was asked to be president which he accepted and had a tremendous round of applause.
Keeping it brief, Dave Collins GW4YNP was elected by majority to be Chairman and Kevin Mogford was nominated and seconded for the post of vice chairman and a show of hands gave a majority vote.
Although Ashley Burns was not in attendance due to covid the members agreed after a nomination and seconding should be secretary, again this was accepted by majority vote.
With no objections Mark Gray and Kevin Earnshaw were re-instated as treasurer and vice treasurer respectively a unanimous vote was recorded for both posts.
Kevin Cox was asked to be station caretaker and he agreed and the membership agreed
Gareth Roberts offered to run the social media section and also the club shop which was also accepted and agreed by the members .
Amendments were made to the constitution so that after membership payment voting rights would be granted and also committee posts could be offered after three months of membership after a lively discussion.
Ken remains as exam secretary, webmaster, repeater NOV and Dstar NOV holder plus club callsign holder.
Paul BGX was thanked for his valuable input.
The meeting was closed at 20.20.
