Thanked all the members for all the support given to the club and to the Committee for the clubs smooth running 

Also thanks given to Mark MW0MKG and to Kev MW0IZX for running the club treasury 

to Gareth MW6GVR for Admin as club secretary

and Kevin Cox MW7KGC for contests field days and the upkeep of club radios

We had excellent results on our field day. British Inland Waterways, at 14 locks ,and getting the required amount of contacts and award .Thanks for all the member support and the committee who attended these events that included British Mountain and Mountain Air 

It was noted that all Committee should attend these events ,as members can't be expected to turn up if committee members don't

The club faced its biggest chalenge at the start of the year that nearly brought us to destruction ,but we pulled together and got rid of the bad apples ,and we rebuilt the club to what we are today we should be proud of that 

We have gained new members ,had great exam results 

We are all pulling together in getting out on events ,field days ,visiting other clubs ,and as members we should all involve ourselves in taking part in all this and a big thanks to Kevin KEQ Ken YaC Kev IZX And Kev KJC for all they do for the organization that's involved

Mark gave everyone a printed copy of the Income and Outgoings for the pasr year.He explained the the money spent what it was for ,he explained about the club insurance

Mark also explained that we need donations for the running of the repeater GB3YA ,what the club spent on the setup .The rent for the hall was explained and even though the rent has increased there will be no increase in our weekly subs

Ken Smith was unanimously voted in as Club President El Presidente Farticus

 

Chairman 

Kevin explained the changes needed in the Constitution and why they were change at last sept 2022 AGM it was changed to allow a member of only 3 months to be able to vote and become a committee member 

After discussion at this 2023 AGM it was Agreed to reverse this decision 

The Club Constitution will now state 

THAT YOU MUST BE A FULL MEMBER OF 12 MONTHS BEFORE YOU CAN VOTE 

THAT YOU MUST BE A FULL MEMBER OF 18 MONTHS BEFORE APPLYING FOR A POST ON THE COMMITTEE 

Also you must have a good attendance record of at least 85% from AGM TO AGM

 

Ken Smith MW0YAC is a founding member of this club and with unanimous vote from the members  

KEN YAC is now an Honorary Life Member 

 

meeting was finished off talking about the raffle being started up again
